PSDRA maintains a convenient trail system in Soldotna's city limits. The trail system is open for public use for non-motorized sports. The only motorized vehicles allowed are PSDRA's maintenance vehicles. The trail system has a strict leash rule - meaning all dogs must be on a leash and in the owner's control. For the enjoyment and safety of all that use the trail, please abide by this rule.
Directions to the trail: From the Sterling Hwy turn onto Funny River Road. Go about 1 mile. Take a right into the parking lot for the trailhead. Watch for the sign at the entrance of the parking lot that says 'Peninsula Sled Dog and Racing Association'.
